LINEHAUL. Equipment Familiarization Acknowledgement for current CSP tractor operators to be completed by Aug. 2, 2018

As previously communicated, to ensure compliance with the FMCSR, and CSP safe operating obligations under the Agreement, CSPs are asked to ensure that all current personnel assigned to operate tractors under an Agreement with FedEx Ground successfully complete an Equipment Familiarization Acknowledgement before Aug. 2, 2018. The Acknowledgement covers safe dolly coupling using FedEx Ground-owned equipment (i.e., dollies).

Authorized officers may download and save or print the Skillsoft instruction packet so they can then provide it to tractor operators. The packet contains information for how to access the acknowledgement via Skillsoft’s website since CSP personnel do not have access to MyGroundBiz.com.

Upon successful completion of the Acknowledgement, the CSP tractor operator will receive a completion certificate with a unique reference number. This reference number allows FedEx Ground to ensure all CSP tractor personnel successfully completed the Acknowledgement before Aug. 2, 2018. Click to view an example completion certificate. CSP tractor operators that do not successfully complete the Acknowledgement by Aug. 2, 2018 will have their driver status changed to safety-inactive, and will be unavailable to be assigned by a CSP to provide services under the Agreement until the Acknowledgement has been successfully completed.
