Dave & I wanted to share some great news on 2 REALLY IMPORTANT TOPICS “Making Money” and “Getting Ahead” AND it’s only fitting that we roll this great news out as we get ready for our Annual Holiday Celebration.  A time where we unplug from FedEx and celebrate YOU!

 

“Making Money”

Ohio announced an increase to the 2024 minimum wage labor rate. Though Slicker is paying all staff well over minimum wage – it seems unfair that the minimum is rising to catch up with earned skill wages. Because of this, Slicker has implemented an across-the-board base wage rate increase of 2% for all P&D Drivers and jumpers, as well as, adjusting mileage and spot rates for all Linehaul Drivers.  This will not replace any possible merit or performance increase given during any upcoming reviews.

 

“Getting Ahead”  (Whether you want to buy a house, pay off bills, save for emergencies or save for retirement!)

First, Dave & I encourage each one of you to look into our 401k program that is available to part-time and full-time employees after 1 year with Slicker AND with your contribution to the 401k – Slicker matches a portion of that DOLLAR for DOLLAR!
